Terms of Service

Effective date: 10 July 2026
Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ReelPlans, a corporation registered in Florida, United States ("ReelPlans", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of the ReelPlans mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ReelPlans lets you save and organise places and activities. When you submit a link from a social media platform or other source, we read the public content that link points to to identify place names and activity names, recreate them as items using our own licensed images and details, and let you save those items into boards. You can combine items from one or more boards into itineraries and add them to a calendar for an event, a night out, or a trip. The Service is currently free to use and does not impose usage limits. We may add other import methods, features, and paid options over time, and we will update these Terms if we do.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and you must meet any higher minimum age that applies in your country. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Your account

You may need an account to use some features. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@reelplans.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You can close your account at any time from within the app, or by emailing us at the same address from your account's email address.

5. Links you submit and content you create

  • Links. You are responsible for the links you submit. By submitting a link you confirm that you are entitled to access the content it points to and to have us read its public information to identify place and activity names. Do not submit links to content that is illegal, that you are not permitted to access, or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Your content. Boards, itineraries, notes, and other material you create are yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service, and to share it with people you choose to share it with.
  • Responsibility. You are solely responsible for the content you create and the links you submit.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any third-party platform's terms;
  • attempt to scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data through the Service in ways it is not designed for, or use the Service or any data from it to build a competing dataset, product, or service;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems, or reverse engineer any part of it except as the law allows;
  • create multiple accounts to evade limits or restrictions, or share, sell, or transfer your account credentials to anyone else;
  • use the Service other than for your own personal, non-commercial planning, or use any automated or high-volume method to submit links or pull large quantities of content;
  • upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringing; or
  • misrepresent your identity or your right to submit any link or content.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

7. Third-party platforms and content

When you submit a link, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the content it points to. Many social media platforms and other services restrict or prohibit automated access in their own terms. We do not guarantee that the Service will work with any particular platform, and we are not responsible if a platform changes, restricts, or blocks access.

Place and activity information shown in the Service may come from public sources and from data and image providers we work with. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and you should verify anything important, such as opening hours or locations, before relying on it. ReelPlans is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social media platform or other service. Trademarks and content belonging to those parties remain theirs.

8. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features in future, we will describe the price, billing, and cancellation terms before you are charged, and any payment will be handled through the app store you downloaded the app from under that store's terms.

9. Fair and personal use

ReelPlans is intended for ordinary personal, non-commercial use: saving, organising, and planning for yourself and the people you plan with. It is not intended for bulk, automated, or commercial use, and it is not a tool for mass extraction of content from any social media platform or other service.

Some features rely on third-party services that cost us money for each use, such as AI processing and place and map data. To keep the Service running well and affordable for everyone, we may set, change, or apply reasonable use expectations, which we determine at our discretion and do not have to publish in advance. Where your activity materially exceeds normal personal use, or appears automated or designed to extract content at scale, we may take any reasonable step to protect the Service and our costs, including slowing down (throttling) your activity, temporarily limiting or pausing features, and suspending, freezing, or closing your account. Where it is practical and appropriate, we will give you notice first, but we may act immediately where needed to prevent harm, abuse, or excessive cost.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including the app, its design, its features, and the images and details we source and license, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as the law allows.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. By using the Service you agree to that policy.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

ReelPlans is an organisational and planning tool. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking service, and we are not responsible for any travel arrangements, bookings, reservations, or experiences you undertake.

Place and activity details, including summaries, are generated with the help of automated and AI tools. This content is for general information only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or in some cases wrong. Always verify it from official or primary sources before you save it, rely on it, or make decisions based on it.

The Service does not provide professional travel, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. Before you travel or act on a plan, check official sources such as government travel advisories and local authorities, and verify places, routes, opening hours, and local conditions independently. Do not rely on ReelPlans as your sole source for any safety-critical decision.

Travel and activities carry inherent risks, including injury, illness, property loss, financial loss from cancellations or changes, and conditions that differ from what the Service shows. You are responsible for your own decisions and for assessing these risks. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelPlans and its officers, directors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed USD 50.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, internet failures, or other force majeure events.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ReelPlans harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your content or the links you submit, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party rights or platform terms.

15. Copyright and DMCA takedown

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.

Who can submit a notice. You must be the copyright owner or someone authorised to act on the owner's behalf. Before submitting, please check that the material is yours or you are authorised to act for the owner, that you have not licensed it to us or to the user who saved it, that the use does not fall under fair use or another exception, and that you can identify where the material appears in the app.

How to submit a notice. Send a written notice to us at support@reelplans.com including all of the following: (1) identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed; (2) identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it in the app; (3) your contact details (name, address, telephone number, and email); (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We typically acknowledge complete notices within a few business days.

What happens next. When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, if it appears valid, remove or disable access to the material. We will tell the user who saved or imported it and give them a copy of the notice, with personal details redacted where we reasonably can.

Counter-notice. If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@reelplans.com including: (1) identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; (2) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; (3) your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice; and (4) your physical or electronic signature. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material as the DMCA allows, unless the original complainant takes legal action.

Repeat infringers. We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

False claims. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, a person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

16. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other reasonable means and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. On termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

18. App stores

You download ReelPlans through an app store. Your use of the app is also subject to that store's terms. The app store provider is not responsible for the app, for any maintenance or support, or for handling any claims relating to it. The app store provider and its affiliates are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country, or on a list, that bars you from receiving the app under applicable export or sanctions law.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clay County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If you live outside the United States, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country may still apply to you, and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

20. General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and ReelPlans regarding the Service and replace any earlier agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
